Did you know that caterpillars appear to have lots of legs but only six are true legs since caterpillars are insects. All the other legs are prolegs or “false legs”. The prolegs have tiny hooks on the ends which help with walking and climbing.
Wooden Caterpillar toys all start off as an original sketch, primary wood species are carefully selected and each toy are made and hand sanded to ensure smooth edges and removal of imperfections. The toys are then finished with cold pressed linseed oil or painted with certified non toxic water based paints.
